Staci Pratt is arguably the worst off, having been so brainwashed by Jacob Seed that Jacob intentionally has him shave Jacob with a Bowie knife to show how much control he has over Pratt, and he has clearly been brainwashed enough to start following Jacobs ideology of culling the weak, even refusing to rescue a random prisoner because of it, only the Deputy. The Bliss Faith has him addicted to is the only way hes felt happy, and hes quite content to stay there. Marshall Burke implies that he drifted through life having accomplished nothing, and feels empty as a result.Joey is implied to have been so tortured that the Deputy has to fight her off for a solid minute before she recognizes the Deputy.Break the Cutie: Joey, Cameron and Pratt have quite a number done on them by the time they are rescued by the Deputy.Yep, I am sure Joseph's happy family will do just fine. So no ability to get food in the endless snows, nothing to hunt because nothing survives on a radioactive snowscape, surrounded by mountains after 10 years of nuclear winter (meaning the passes are shut so you can't leave) and running out of resources. In a nuclear winter Montana is a glacier again. Over all, even if the bunkers weren't stuffed with totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane psychos just waiting for the right trigger to explode, Joseph was an idiot for trying to build his bunkers in a remote valley in Montana. If you have ever worked with people who do nothing until they are told to, you know what a problem that is. The angels need to be directed to do things or they do nothing. The problem with zombies they can't think around problems and have no real motivation. Zombies are mildly OK for menial labor like hauling stuff and maybe farm work (though honestly I bet they are worse than dedicated people with their brains intact). I mean that conditioning will be 100% for that long right?įaith: Totally reliant on the bliss wich makes people into zombies. Being locked in a bunker with murderbots for a couple decades seems totally safe. Jacob Seed: His control methods rob people of their ability to reason and turns them into murderbots. His would probably fall first simply because he is totally incapable of leadership. Destroys people's ability to reason with torture. John Seed: Gets off on torturing people for fun. Each of those bunkers would fail anyway simply because their leaders are psychopaths. Overly controled societies don't handle things that aren't planned for well. Those bunkers would have torn themselves apart at the first real problem. His methods of 'saving' people wouldn't have worked anyway. Saving people wasn't high on Joe Seed's list? Please explain that theory as it's a new one to me. reasons? Saving people clearly wasn't high on his priority list, the only thing Joseph cared about was brainwashing some random cop who is clearly resistant to that stuff. Joseph had like a dozen opportunities to kill the deputy and get back to 'saving' people, but he didn't. The deputy showed up in hope county as a reaction to Josephs kidnappings and the other crimes he was comitting. Now, whether you or I wanted to live in the society they would've built is different issue. They had an incredible amount of organization and even slave labour forces in the form of Angels. There is no doubt that the Seeds and all those Peggies would not only have survived but been able to rebuild. The Deputy/PC applies personal morality judgements, deems the Seeds to be evil, and destroys them all thereby destroying thousands of lives and their chances at survival. The Seeds would have saved thousands of people they deemed strong. They had several massive bunkers fully stocked and ready to go. Now it's just him and the deputy,Ĭorrection: Because of the DEPUTY/PC a bunch of bunkers got blown up. Without him, there might have been a couple survivors who could rebuild. Because of him,a bunch of perfectly good bunkers got blown up, loads of people were murdered and all the preppers got driven out of their safe places. He was pure evil and didn't do anything that helped humanity survive, quite the opposite really.
